EDINBURGH, 31 May 2007 - Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) - America's fastest growing international airline - is to launch year-round nonstop service from Edinburgh to New York's JFK Airport, commencing May 2008. The service will be operated using Boeing 757-200 ETOPS aircraft, with the range and configuration to fly passengers in comfort between Delta's hub at New York JFK and destinations across continental Europe, including Scotland and the U.K. Delta's New York service will be the only scheduled nonstop service between Scotland and New York's John F. Kennedy Airport and will replace Delta's current nonstop flight to Atlanta which will discontinue service effective 27 October 2007
