I have worked in travel for over 24 years and have been with Capricorn Travel since October 1995. Without a doubt I subscribe to the view that travel is the best education you can get and you should never stop learning! We all have different takes on what is the ideal holiday and it is this diversity that makes our job so interesting and rewarding. My personal favourites are Borneo & Peru and of course it’s hard to beat Orlando as a great family destination. On the “to do” list is to see the Northern Lights.
I started working for Capricorn Travel in April 2005. Travel is my number one interest so I’m always thinking about it, even when I’m not working. My favourite places are Lisbon (the ideal short break destination!) and Tromso in Norway, far north above the Arctic Circle. Goa is another place I enjoy and know very well – I must have been there about 20 times and the same applies to Lisbon.
The places I would love to go to are Greenland as I find it completely intriguing and the diverse continent of South America – absolutely anywhere there will do. Basically, I like something that’s a little bit different from the norm!
My name is Vicky and I have been in travel for 13 years and started working for Capricorn Travel in April 2001. Whilst working here I have travelled quite a bit. My favourite places are New York (where all my shopping takes place!) and Bodrum in Turkey where I have been too many times – 8 to be exact.
The place I would love to visit is South Africa, and seek out adventure on a safari
to see the big five.
Hello there, my name is Shannalee.
I have been in travel for over 20 years and have been with Capricorn Travel since 2006 and am enjoying every moment. Having travelled extensively around the world to places from Paris, Egypt, Tunisia, many places in the Far East, Sri Lanka, Australia, Canada, USA, Mexico and South America. Most memorable places to me are Brazil, Rio, the statue of Christ the Redeemer (one of the wonders of the world) the spectacular Rio Carnival and the unbelievably amazing Iguassu Falls. The most relaxed holiday was to Koh Samui – great hotel, excellent beaches & and plenty of sea food! On a semi adventurous holiday, it has to be Disney World in Florida, Sea World and Discovery Cove, then a quick flight to Las Vegas to celebrate my Birthday with a flutter on card table & slot machines – winning made it extra special.
All the years in travel one of the biggest satisfactions for me is when a client comes in with an itinerary they think it’s impossible to do and I make it possible with extra trimmings. Seeing the satisfaction on their faces is priceless!
